Jong Holland, issue 19, 2003
Jong Holland is a magazine on art produced after 1850. The theme of the issue was authenticity. I thought a generated image would fit the bill â is it authentic or not? The Drawbot image build bitmapped letters out of squares and circles, varying the color slightly.
A module written earlier produces bitmapped lettering with primitive shapes. The type consists of several layers, each with its own color and transparency. This caused some spectacular effects.
